Not one to be outshone by British design, Armani has designed a kit for all the Italian athletes due to test their skills at the Summer Olympics which will be held between July and August in the English capital.
Last month, British designer Stella McCartney unveiled her designs for Team GB and came under scrutiny for her re-interpretation of the British flag and her colour choices.
The Italian kit is not flag-inspired, but designed in white and midnight blue. Phrases from the Italian national anthem will be sewn into the fibres of select pieces of the kit.
