Most of us are continuously on the look-out for the perfect foundation – in particular the perfect long-lasting, hard-working yet light foundation that can bring you from day to night without blocking your pores. I think I’ve found it and without breaking the bank! Lancôme, who are renowned for their quality, assiduous products, have brought us Teint Idole Ultra 24H and just as the name suggests it really is a comfortable, day-long fit.
In addition, they have also added eight new shades to their existing colour palette (over 50 worldwide) which leaves us spoilt for choice. Having a naturally pale complexion, I’m somewhere in between shades one and two so hopefully with some sun (!) on the way this summer I’ve gone for the warmer of the two.
Unlike some other hard-working foundations that I’ve tried, despite the long hours, my skin still feels smooth and non-irritated by the time I take it off. If you are going out after work, you only need a little touch up, if any at all. Plus a little goes a long way and at €35 you get great value for your investment.
