The theme of the event is ‘Strike a ball, strike a Pose’, a fashion and sport fusion.The event will feature an array of sports savvy outfits, perfect for all summer’s best sporting events whether participating or just socialising. From Leopardstown to Croke Park, there will be plenty of fashionable finds for your day out!
Rosemary MacCabe, Fashion writer for the Irish Times will serve as producer of the event. Designs from fashion collective Project 51 will be showcased, alongside Aisling Ahern, Arnotts, Louis Copeland Menswear and the Sports Store at Carton House, Maynooth.
The fashion show willt ake place at The Round Room in The Mansion House on Friday, 18th May 2012 at 8pm.
The charity’s work is ultimately about people, their dignity and their quality of life, and its history dates back to 1892. The Sisters have the responsibility of caring for 2,300 people, 800 of whom are in full-time residential care, with 1,500 attending Specialist Centres on a daily basis.
Funds raised from the project will go towards RESPECT’s Clonsilla based housing project at St. Joseph’s.
