The 41 year-old British supermodel will join two other top models as mentors and scouting agents, to fill their team with potential models, in a competition to find a brand new face for the US fashion industry.
The series has been described as a mix between America's Next Top Model and The Voice, and is brought to screens by the same network that airs ANTM, with producers behind The Biggest Loser taking the project on board.
“I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world" said Campbell in a statement. "With The Face, the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me. One lucky girl will become the face of a major brand."
Top Model will see a major shake-up for their panel next season following the departure of Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker and J. Alexander
Campbell has had television stints and guest spots on different documentaries and series, but this will mark her biggest role on television to date. The announcement comes as Top Model enters a serious shake-up. Three of the famous faces from the show -photographer Nigel Barker, runway trainer J. Alexander and creative director Jay Manuel- have been let go, following a significant drop in ratings for the reality competition, embarking on its 18th season.

Senior VP at Oxygen, Rod Aissa, said "The Face is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama. Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it."
The series is expected to premiere this Autumn.
