Diet and Nutrition
In terms of diet I have tried so many things, but the best and most individual results I ever received were from Rosaleen Durkin, a kinesiologist who practices in the Dublin Holistic Centre. It's hard to describe and very intuitive, but basically it gauges your body’s immediate reaction to certain foods and gives you a great prescription of what works. You can see you body react to things badly or positively right before your eyes.

Facial Acupuncture
Facial acupuncture is something more women should know about. Practicing in Blackrock, Deirdre Courtney can smooth and tone your face in just a few sessions, in a way no facial ever could. Some people are worried it will hurt and I can assure you it's practically pain free when done correctly with someone like Deirdre. The added bonus of a session with her is that you leave her practice rejuvenated, feeling calm and happy overall. Her facial massage is also wonderful.

Reiki
Reiki was one of the treatments I never understood until my job saw me having a session with Rebecca Singleton. It's tricky to define exactly what it is and I have occasionally doubted it in between my sessions, especially when my finances were stretched, but the beauty of it is that you don't have to know exactly what it is and what she's doing, because it works! For both physical, emotional and, in my experience, relationship healing an hour here is highly recommended. Go in with an open mind.

Counselling
Counselling and guidance with Ger Horne. Ger is full of sage wisdom and has the kind of manner that makes you feel that he already knows all the answers, but rather than telling you, he coaxes them out of you. He has solved problems that have hung around me for years, in hours. He also does Thai Massage and acupuncture and is kind of a one stop shop. For a while he worked in Doonbeg Golf Club attending to the needs of the big wigs there - now he is out on his own and working in Dublin City Centre.

Astrology with Andrew Smith
This is not the stuff from the back of Heat magazine and the like, this is the real deal and incredibly insightful. Getting my reading with Andrew involved applying to the Rotunda to find my exact time of birth - which turned out to be 1-55 as against 2PM as my parents remembered. This apparently made a huge amount of difference. Whether you want to believe it or not, Andrew is incredible at what he does. He mapped out my year ahead to include several major events with accuracy with in a week.
