There is only one day to go until Kim Kardashian will head down the aisle to wed New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries. Since the couple’s engagement on May 18, the reality star and fashion designer has been on a mission to get herself in tip top shape for the most important day of her life.

In an exclusive interview with Shape magazine Kim’s personal trainer Gunnar Peterson revealed the bride-to-be’s secret workout regimes and toning exercises in preparation for her big day.

Mr Peterson is considered to be the trainer to the stars and has previously worked with the likes of Jlo and Sylvester Stallone. It is claimed that he has been working out with Kim fives times a week for the past couple of months.

Gunnar admitted that, although her workout routines were similar to once she did before, they upped the ante by quickening the pace.

Alternating five sets of strength training exercises with high intensity cardio blasts, Gunnar got Kim to target all parts of her body, from arms and shoulders to bum, thighs and core.

Kim’s strength exercises include push ups for arm and chest toning, medicine ball rotations to work the abs, rear lunges to work the bottom and thighs and a sled push for an all over body strengthening.
