Stunning supermodel Claudia Schiffer has revealed that she hopes to leave a lasting brand which she can pass on to her children one day.

The German model launched her first cashmere collection during Haute Couture fashion week in Paris, after thinking about getting into fashion design for years.

The 40-year-old decided to start designing the type of clothes she used to wear when she was a working mother, such as cashmere dresses and jumpers.

Speaking to Reuters, Shchiffer said: "I am always very busy, I have a family life... I want to wear the same outfit when I bring my children to school and then go to work with it and in the evening I want to be able to just change accessories,"

Schiffer lives in Britain with her film producer husband Matthew Vaughn and their three children.
