Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has revealed that she is scared of Hollywood’s obsession with looks.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the 21-year-old insisted that she will never move to LA and that she avoided becoming reliant on drink, like co-star Daniel Radcliffe, because she did not want to bother her parents.
The star said: “Los Angeles scares the c**p out of me.
“I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad. I will absolutely lose it.”
The actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the franchise, added that she left England to study at Brown University, because she felt too “claustrophobic” there.
Commenting on the pressures of fame and staying teetotal, she said: “I couldn't imagine giving my family any more trouble - it's already been complicated enough.”
