Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy have married in a wedding ceremony in Leicestershire.

The footballer and model tied the knot in the grounds of the four-star Stapleford Park Hotel in front of around 120 friends and family.

Clancy wore a white, strapless Giles Deacon wedding dress with a tight, lace corset bodice which kicked out into a voluminous, tiered skirt above the knee.

She wore her hair down, in a loose and tousled style, and did not opt for traditionally bridal make-up, instead opting for smokey eyes and red nail varnish.

The Tottenham Hotspur player wore a black suit and waistcoat with a white tie and a white rose on his lapel to match his bride's bouquet.

500-acre grounds of the luxury country house hotel and sporting estate.

Following the church service, the newlyweds and guests went to the Orangery at the hotel for a lavish wedding reception.

Abbey, who has been in a relationship with Crouch for five years, gave birth to the couple's first child, Sophia Ruby, three months ago.

Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen expressed her happiness for the newlyweds via Twitter. She wrote: "Congratulations Abbey and Peter on your wedding day!!! Look gorgeous x x."
