Hair oils are by no means a new invention, but they seem to be staging a comeback with the introduction of a selection of new products to the beauty world.
I've tried a good few of the products - ranging from the high-end Shu Uemura Essence Absolue which comes in at €50 a bottle, to the fabulous Kerastase Huile Celeste which is priced at a slightly less prohibitive €24.30.
Now L'Oreal Professional has released their version of the product - Mythic Oil - which is very reasonably priced at €15.20, without sacrificing on quality!
This lightweight oil can be used in a multitude of ways to nourish, tame and treat the hair.
I used it on shampooed, towel dried hair as a pre-blow dry product and found it really excellent for leaving my hair looking shiny and feeling soft.
You can also add a small amount to dried hair to tame any flyaways and add another burst of shine.
It contains Avocado Oil and Grape Seed Oil, as well as silicones to plump out the hair cuticle.
