Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova has confirmed that she has split from husband Justin Portman - a British property heir.
The couple – who have three children together, nine-year-old Lucas, five-year-old Neva and three-year-old Viktor – have separated after over nine years of marriage.
The couple married in November 2001 in the UK, and the following September had a three-day wedding in St Petersburg.
Vodianova confirmed the news in an interview with ES magazine. She said: “It’s really sad. It has been a while. We didn’t want to talk about it. We still don’t. Our children are very much aware of it. It’s OK.
“We’re still in a very sensitive position right now, and trying to do things as amicably as possible, so I wouldn’t want to talk about it at all. I don’t think I ever will want to because it’s strictly between my husband and me.”
When asked by the publication if she was in love with another man, Vodianova replied, “Yes, definitely”, although she did not reveal his identity.
