Angelina Jolie is the latest celebrity to lend her face to the Louis Vuitton Core Values campaign.

Jolie joins the select number of celebrities, including the likes of Bono, Sean Connery and Keith Richards, who star in the ‘core values’ campaign. The idea being that it showcases celebrities, rather than models, in real-life situations with timeless and classic Vuitton pieces.

Controversial photographer Annie Leibovitz took the images for the campaign. The 35 year-old actress and mother shot the campaign in Siem Reap, Cambodia, wearing her own clothes and with minimal make up.

Jolie was paid an undisclosed fee for the campaign but it is reported that she donated a considerable sum to charity. Some papers speculate that the beneficiary would be the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, set up by Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, which develops communities and aids conservation in Cambodia.

The campaign will last 18 months. Later this month the company will stream interviews with Jolie and give an insight into Cambodia and the work she does for the country. The advertisement is set to begin running on Wednesday, beginning in the International Herald Tribune.
