Eccentric dresser Helena Bonham Carter has said that her outfit for the Oscars is "probably going to be a catastrophe".
At the recent Golden Globe awards the star, who is Oscar-nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in 'The King's Speech', arrived on the red carpet in a pair of differently coloured shoes.
The Press Association reports that she said of her Oscars outfit: "It's probably going to be a catastrophe, but I'm going to go for it.
"There's always indecision. Of course I want to have fun. I promise you I'll wear the same colour shoes.
"Quite frankly, as my boyfriend [director Tim Burton] knows, right up to the last minute it can go wrong at any time.
"I can be going quite good, then suddenly I can go off piste. We'll see."
