Maybelline's new Eye Studio Gel Liner is a steal at €11.99 - and performs just as well as higher end brands.
The small jar of product comes with a handy tapered brush for precise application.
It took me a few tries to get a great result from this - but that's down to my own shaky hand and lack of practice than anything else!
The product has a great formulation - creamy and densely pigmented - and does not dry out easily like some gel liners can.
I found it best to load the brush quite thickly with the liner - and starting from the inside of my eye sweep outwards.
This gives a satisfyingly black finish - and lasts the day without smudging or losing intensity.
