I've been favouring Dannii's 'X Factor' choices over the past few weeks, in fact I've been distinctly unimpressed with most of Cheryl's outfits. However, this weekend saw a return to form for the popstar.
A hefty double dose of glitz and glam meant that Cheryl was firmly ahead in the fashion stakes on both shows.
She donned a fabulous Emilio Pucci antique gold lace mini dress for Saturday night. This one-shouldered frock featured beautiful embellishments, and her hair is looking decidedly fresher too, having gone for a more manageable length and natural chestnut shade. Glad she's stepped away from the straight-from-a-box mahogany look!
Sunday's offering was even more impressive, when Cheryl took to the stage in a streamlined floor sweeper. This utterly gorgeous gown by Gianfranco Ferre featured a beaded bodice that made the most of her tiny waist.
Danni's choices were a little more predictable, although she still looked amazing. Saturday night's choice was a scarlet organza number by Carla Zampatti. It's a little frilly for my liking, but I adore the plaited upstyle which I think will be much copied this Christmas!
She wore a plunging halter gown by Halston on Sunday night featuring Grecian draping, a look she's loving this season.
Glad to see Cheryl's return to style icon status!
