I love a good tartan coat for the winter, but after I dug out my coats from the top of my wardrobe I discovered that one of my old faithfuls had finally bitten the dust.
In fairness, I've had this plaid Topshop number since my first year of college, and it's been passed around my sisters a good bit too, so it's raggedy state didn't come as too much of a surprise.
This See by Chloe piece wouldn't make a bad substitute. It's a little more staid and grown-up that my old number (which was green and red!) but I love the classic cut and easily adaptable colour.
The navy, grey and black fabric makes is easy to incorporate into my existing winter wardrobe!
