I'm a sucker for a bit of leopard print, the gaudier the better! My wardrobe is awash with the stuff, having just purchased a leopard print slip from Topshop and a vintage bag and cardigan in a charity shop.
When these Christian Louboutin lovelies caught my eye it was of course love at first sight. They're a damn sight prettier than the €9 Penny's leopard heel-pumps I currently own, but of course have the price tag to match.
But, as they say, you get what you pay for - and the quality of these shoes is second-to-none. The chain embellishment along the back is an unusual detail for Louboutin's, and of course the signature red sole is as enticing as ever.
I also love the cut of the shoes - which elevates them above most court heels. The way they dip in a v-shape at the top of the shoe is really pretty and is sure to compliment even the most inelegant of ankles (like mine!)
To boot, I'm all for how Net-a-Porter have chosen to style the shoes (image three) - as an accent on an otherwise neutral, pared back look.
Here the shoes are worn with a beautiful Elizabeth and James draped leather jacket, Current/Elliot skinny jeans, a T by Alexander Wang grey top, Nancy Gonzalez clutch, and great gold cuff by Dannijo.
I want it all!
