I'd walked past The Grooming Rooms on South William Street countless times but never paid it any heed, until I heard about their salon for women - Eve.
The Grooming Rooms and Eve are located in an amazingly spacious building over three floors; the waiting room alone is bigger than some entire beauty salons!
It's all beautifully restored with tasteful interior design, and the calm atmosphere is perfect for a spot of decompressing.
I tried the Dermalogica Prescriptives facial, which costs €80 for 60 minutes of pampering. The experience was so relaxing that I kept nodding off during the treatment, only to be jolted back to reality with the application of new products!
It was an excellent facial, extremely thorough and included a double cleanse, double exfoliation, extractions and face mask. My skin looked the clearest it has in a long time following the treatment and glowed for a few days after.
