Gemma Arterton was the picture of elegance at the premiere of her new film 'Tamara Drewe' in London yesterday.
The actress took to the red carpet with barely a scrap of make-up on her face, a brave choice but one which she carries off with ease!
Her luminous complexion and gorgeous features are of course a plus, but I think a lot of people could take a note out of her book and go for a more natural look.
Make-up should conceal any problems while highlighting your natural beauty, rather than layering on the slap which I think is ageing and has the opposite effect of making you look prettier!
The simple, nude Gucci gown she donned fit her like a dream too - and she kept her neckline bare - so the overall effect was streamlined. Her hair was pulled into a very low-key ponytail with a few strands pulled loose.
