The perfect white t-shirt is one of those wardrobe essentials that is surprisingly difficult to come across.
Of late I've been trying to pare back my wardrobe, and have taken to buying good quality, simple pieces that are easy to coordinate rather than fussy items.
White t-shirts are something I have quite a few of - but they're mostly of the Penneys or H&M variety that have been through the wash too many times and have lost of lot of their lustre!
I have heard a lot about the label Kain - which specialise in really great basics - and when browsing Net-a-Porter came across their designs.
These are certainly pricey (€93 for a t-shirt - ouch!) - but they look gorgeous in the model shots.
Made from a modal-silk blend they have a beautifully sheer look, I'd imagine they're unbelievably soft and comfortable. On top of that, I love the way they hang - baggy but not shapeless.
I'd team the t-shirt with a high-waisted skirt or some skinny jeans and heels. It would make getting dressed for work a cinch!
