GH: Do you experiment with your look?
RP: All the time! I think it's very important to be versatile in this industry, as people get bored quickly. It's good to be able to switch it up and show that you can wear different looks. I am a huge follower of fashion trends and I think this season is very much about experimenting with your looks.
GH: Who is your fashion icon or your greatest influence in matters of style?
RP: I would not say I have an ultimate fashion icon, I have quite a few and for different reasons. I love Alexa Chung's style it's very indie rock meets couture and almost gives the impression that it has just been thrown together. I love LOOK and Stellar magazine because they give great ideas and tips for the latest trends.
GH: What is your essential beauty item that must be in your handbag?
RP: My essential item is Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream. I'm prone to dry lips, so it's a great conditioner that helps to keeps them looking crack free!
GH: What is your favourite item of clothing that you've ever purchased?
RP: Oh this is a hard one! You know what? It would probably be my fur jacket I got on sale in River Island. I drag it out ever winter season, although I could drag it out now with what the weather is like outside! It was a great investment and I am always getting complimented on it.
GH: How important is fashion in the world of celebrity?
RP: It is extremely important. Unfortunately celebrities don't get judged on their personalities but on their appearances, that’s probably why so many have enlisted the help of stylists! A celebrity’s style can break or make a career - take for example Lady Gaga. Her insane and elaborate outfits have almost helped her in achieving worldwide success!
GH: Who's your favourite designer? And your favourite high street store?
RP: My favourite designer would have to be Chloe. I think their creations are very strong and flattering to a woman’s physique, both girls with curves and "boyish" figures but it’s just a little too expensive for me. I rely on the high street stores which, in my opinion, are just as good as designer brands. Of course, like many other girls my age, Topshop is my main store to shop in. It's not just their unique and trendy lines that draw me in but their clothes seem to fit and flatter me the best.
GH: What is you favourite city to shop in and why?
RP: I love London. I have been to New York, Paris, among other leading shopping cities but London definitely is at the top of my list. I like the way it has designer stores like Harrods, the amazing high street but also vintage markets such as Camden! With the cheaper prices, incredible choice and Primark on Oxford Street, London certainly tops the list for me.
GH: What do you feel best wearing?
RP: This depends on the occasion; however, I feel best wearing what looks good on me, and what I am most comfortable in! My favourite trend at the moment is Harem pants; I must have ten pairs! They’re fashionable, flattering yet still so comfortable - whatever the weather. If you match them with a plain vest top and some wow accessories you are set for day or night!
GH: What's the best style advice you have been given?
RP: My best style advice is invest in some key pieces that flatter you but also items which you feel comfortable in, as you will find that you will wear these items the most!
I have learnt my lesson the hard way - from buying expensive killer heels and skin tight dresses, that after wearing once, I‘d never wear again! Keep to the high street, the clothes are much cheaper and, in some cases, the quality is just as good. You can then afford to refresh your wardrobe at the end of the season with the new trends!
