'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue has given birth to her first child in Melbourne.
The Daily Mail reports that Minogue and her partner Kris Smith welcomed a baby boy on Monday. The boy has been named Ethan Edward Smith.
This is the couple's first child together.
A spokesperson for Minogue said "Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5th July 2010.
"Mother and baby are doing well and Dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents."
Minogue's pop singer sister Kylie is expected to travel home to Australia to meet her new nephew later this month.
