Nicole Richie was in London last night to launch her House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate autumn/winter collections.
My-Wardrobe.com and Richie hosted an exclusive dinner at Soho House to celebrate the unveiling of the two ranges.
The star talked to the Vogue website about the inspiration behind her designs:
"I was walking around the other day and I saw this woman wearing this great hat and I thought actually that'd make a really good bag so we turned it upside down and now it's a great looking bag. Handbags and sunglasses are the area I really hope to expand on. I'm a real handbag girl. I couldn't cope without my Balenciaga- it comes everywhere with me."
The designer also revealed the reason behind dying her hair dark was due to her body changing during pregnancy:
"I have found the increase in bust size difficult though. It's why I dyed my hair brunette. I was blonde with this big chest and I thought no this is not my look."
