Britney Spears has released photographs of herself before they have been digitally altered alongside the airbrushed images.
The photos, which were from a fashion photoshoot for US brand Candie's, show Spears posing in a pink cut-out swimsuit. When the two sets of photos are compared the obvious differences between the images can be seen.
The untouched images show uneven skintone, bruises on her legs and cellulite on her back and thighs. A tattoo Spears has on her lower back has also been removed. The airbrushed images show a much slimmer Spears with smooth, even skin.
Spears made the brave move in order to highlight the pressure on women to look perfect, reports the Marie Claire website.
