Jessica Simpson has appeared make-up free on the cover of the latest US edition of Marie Claire magazine.
The singer and reality TV star appears on the cover with the tag line ‘No makeup, No retouching, No regrets', and follows the airing of her one-off TV show 'The Price of Beauty' - a documentary about society's obsession with image.
The documentary sees Simpson travel to India to see the perception of beauty in other cultures.
The Marie Claire website quotes Simpson talking about the show: "The journey really was finding what was beautiful inside of me and knowing that it's unique and rare. ‘It was a very powerful journey. It has definitely changed my life."
