Anna Kendrick talked about her Oscars dress, saying that she wanted it to be timeless so it would not date badly.
The star of 'Twilight' and 'Up in the Air', for which she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress, wore a pale pink Elie Saab dress to the ceremony.
Speaking to People, Kendrick said: "I feel like it's timeless and I wanted that moment to be a picture that I can look back on in 50 years and not think, 'Oh my God, what was I thinking? That's so 2010!'"
Kendrick's stylist revealed that the actress abandoned her original dress choice two day's before the event because "it wasn't right" and that she was "immediately happy" with the Elie Saab gown.
