Victoria Beckham spent £1 million in a single shopping trip in Milan, reports the Marie Claire website.
The singer-turned-fashion-designer racked up this formidable bill while on a trip to Milan's famous Via Montenapoleone, at a selection of designer stores.
Beckham bought a selection of dresses, handbags, designer luggage, sunglasses and five sofas in the shopping spree.
She also splashed out on her husband David, buying him two suits and a Rolex watch.
She later said of the shopping trip: £I did spend too much. Shopping is like a drug. The more you have the more you want.
"I would move in to the Via Montenapoleone if I could because when I am in Milan I don't know how to walk past it. It's as if all of those wonderful shops are calling out to me, saying, 'Come and buy me! Come and buy me!''
