Victoria Beckham is said to be devastated after a collection of dresses from her fashion range were stolen in a knife-point raid.

Fifty to seventy-five spring/summer pieces were taken from a delivery van while they were en route to the department store Neiman Marcus.

Two thieves followed the van which left from the star's management office in West London and was headed for Heathrow.

After the driver stopped to make another delivery, he returned to the vehicle to find the padlocks smashed, and two men came out of the van carrying two boxes of dresses. The driver was then forced to the ground during the attack.

A source revealed to The Mirror newspaper: "Everyone from Madonna to Elle Macpherson has been seen wearing Victoria's dresses and, as a result, they've developed a money-can't-buy exclusivity about them.

"This operation was meticulously planned. The thieves must feel they can make a fortune selling the collection on the black market."

Beckham is reportedly hoping to get a new order remade in time to hit the shop floors.
