I’m always on the look out for products that can help me achieve poker straight strands without having to use flat irons so often or take a trip to salon!. But achieving this ultra sleek look can be a challenge for different hair types. Now thanks to Redken its just got a whole lot easier.
Their new Straight Collection is customised for fine, medium, and coarse hair types and best of all it really works!
I tested the new Sheer Straight 06 Straightening Gel for fine hair. Fine hair is more prone to flyaways and can often appear flat and greasy when trying to achieve straight styles.
Just apply a small amount of this light-weight, non-greasy gel to damp hair and blow dry for a really nice natural straight style, or for a super sleek finish use your flat irons. As an added bonus it also helps to protect from heat.
Tip: If, like me, you find yourself reaching for flat irons most days, then you should check out Redken's Iron Silk 07 Straightening Spray which is a super product to help protect and smooth hair.
Also new in the range is Power Tame 16, a straightening balm for coarse hair, which due to its unruly nature can be hard to manage and doesn’t easily hold straight styles for long. This balm is designed to tame frizz and transform unruly textures.
While the range is quite pricey, you pay for quality and if you are straigtening your hair frequently then this is definately worth the investment.
