I had the luck to try out Bespoke Beauty recently, a tucked away salon on Morehampton Road in Donnybrook.
Set up by award-winning beauty therapist and beauty editor of Social and Personal Elaine Butler-Doolin, this cosy salon offers top quality treatments at reasonable prices.
I tried out a de-stress back massage as well as a pedicure - which was the most thorough and long-lasting I've tried to date!
The back massage was a wholly relaxing experience. Elaine used divinely scented hot wax for the treatment which was packed full of essential oils and left skin feeling gorgeously smooth.
Lasting 55 minutes (€90), the massage all but sent me off to sleep after a long day in the office.
The pedicure (€45) was an equally expertly accomplished treatment. Having been away in America for a month on a road trip had not exactly been kind on my feet, and Elaine scrubbed, polished and painted them back into tip-top form!
