L’Oréal Professionnel has released a new range of handy portable styling products - Play Ball Play Tubes.
I've been road testing the Curl Candy (€17.20) - a gel cream which defines curls and tames frizz.
I used a small dab of the gel, which has a really lovely light texture and sweet, but not sickly, fragrance, on towel dried hair.
It was surprisingly easy to work into the hair, and didn't feel sticky or heavy. I then left my hair to dry naturally, and further enhanced the curls with another quick application of the gel.
My layers were defined, my hair fell into curls easily and frizz was greatly reduced - very impressive!
You can vary the effect with how you apply the gel, for a curlier affect scrunch into the hair or twist the product into sections of your hair.
There are two other products in the range - the Slick Caramel, a toffee scented smoothing cream, and Extreme Honey, a gel that fixes tough styles in place.
