Earlier this year, the US professional haircare brand Pureology was introduced to Europe, with a range of products specifically targeted to colour treated hair.
The eco range boasts 100% vegan formulations, bottles partly made from post-consumer recycled plastics and sulphates are replaced with a natural foaming agent.
There are three lines in the collection - Pure Volume, Pure Hydrate, and Essential Repair.
I've been giving the Pure Volume range a whirl, and it's been doing wonders for my frazzled, colour treated hair.
The highly concentrated formula means that you only need a tiny dab of shampoo, and it foams up easily to give hair a deep clean.
The difference in the softness of my hair was apparent even before I applied the conditioner which was a bonus!
My hair was left looking and feeling much more nourished and shiny, with my colour given a nice sheen.
The prices for this range aren't cheap, but as the formulas are so concentrated, and the results so outstanding, it seems worthwhile. Shampoos come in at €21 (300ml), conditioners are €25 (250ml), masques are €35 and styling products are on sale for between €21 and €25.
The Pureology range is available at L’Oreal salons nationwide.
