Beyonce is all set to launch her own fragrance under a multi-million dollar contract with world-famous perfumers Coty.
The star who won Video Of The Year for Single Ladies at the MTV Music Awards told Women's Wear Daily her fragrance - which she hasn't named yet - would be "reflective of my inner power".
While she may have been the face of perfumes by Tommy Hilfiger and Emporio Armani, this is Beyonce’s first foray into creating her own perfume and she’ll be doing it with the same company who started the whole celebrity perfume craze back with J-Lo in 2002.
Coty’s stable of celebrity perfumes now includes Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Kimora Lee Simmons, Kate Moss, Shania Twain, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham.
In addition to a huge advertising campaign, Beyonce will do personal appearances to support the fragrance. She says: "While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance."
Beyonce, who is married to music mogul Jay-Z, looks set to launch her fragrance in spring 2010.
