Years of searching and collecting a mass of inadequate bristles later, I've finally found the hair brush of hair brushes.
Shu Uemura's Paddle Brush may sound like another fancy name for a run-of-the-mill tress tamer but upon closer inspection, the array of double nylon and boar bristles results in an all together new experience. I kid you not, owners of thick, rich yet unruly hair can now achieve detangled, enhanced shine and smoothness from roots to ends.
Their tag doesn't exaggerate either when it promises that their products deliver "Beautiful tools, beautiful finish". The bristles are nestled in an air cushioned bed and the handle is as sleek and smooth as the results on your hair. The one criticism I'd have is the white air cushioned bed, which given all the hair products used nowadays, no amount of regular cleaning will retain. Still I'm in hair heaven and wish you fun on your own journey!
