There are so many self-tanning products on the market these days that it's hard to know where to start in the hunt to find the perfect one for your skin.
Estée Lauder's latest self-tanning product Bronze Goddess will suit some people but not others. It all depends on what you want from your fake tan.
For me, this product has a number of obvious strengths and weaknesses from first use. On the plus side, the cream is really easy to spread and dries in very quickly. Although it doesn't provide instant colour there isn't much danger of overdoing certain areas and getting a patchy or streaky look (and importantly it's very good on the bones). The cream, which also has a firming quality, spreads so well that you'll be able to just glide your hand up and down your legs a few times on application.
But here's where the problem starts unfortunately, you might not notice any colour developing after the first application. In fact I found that it takes at least two to three applications for the product to show any impact. That said, when the colour does develop it tends to be natural and subtle. There'll be no orange hues that scream "Look at my badly faked tanned legs!".
So I suppose it depends on what you're looking for here. If you want a product that just gives you a healthy hint of a glow, banishing your pasty skin, then this works, with a little patience, and it looks good when you get to the desired colour. But if you're looking for a quick-fix tango then this probably isn't the product for you.
