The US President Barack Obama has admitted he is "a little frumpy" when it comes to fashion.
He made the comments after being ridiculed for wearing loose-fitting jeans to a baseball game last week.
Obama said: "Those jeans are comfortable! And for those of you who want your president to look great in his tight jeans, I'm sorry, I'm not the guy. They just don't fit me, I am not 20!"
Fashion critics said that his baggy trousers were "dad jeans" and "nerd jeans".
He also revealed in an interview with US TV Show 'Today' that wife Michelle teases him about his clothes.
"Here is my attitude - Michelle looks fabulous. Up until a few years ago I only had four suits. Michelle used to tease me because they'd get really shiny. I hate to shop."
Michelle Obama has been heralded as a style icon since coming into the public eye, and in March she appeared on the front cover of Vogue magazine.
The First Lady also appeared on both Vanity Fair's best dressed list and People magazine's list of best dressed women.
