Style guru Gok Wan was today announced as the chairman of the judging panel for the Simply Be Curvy 2010 competition.

Simply Be, the online shopping website for curvy women, recently launched a nationwide search to find the Irish face of Simply Be for 2010.

The winner of the competition will model for Simply Be's spring/summer catalogue. The winner will also get €1,000 worth of Simply Be clothing and accessories, a luxury holiday worth €1000 and €500 spending money.

Wan, the presenter of Channel 4's 'How to Look Good Naked' said of his role in the model search, “I know how much girls care about looking gorgeous.

"Simply Be Curvy 2010 offers the curvaceous girls among us the chance to celebrate their curves and bootylicious bodies. I am delighted to be Chairman of the Simply Be Curvy 2010 judging panel and really look forward to meeting all the curvaceous Irish ladies out there.”

The campaign runs from now until mid-July with regional heats planned for August.

The final of Simply Be Curvy will take place on 19th September in Dublin where 12 finalists will strut their stuff on the catwalk for the grand finale.
