A deluge of orders has allegedly crashed the website of Liam Gallagher's new fashion line.

The Pretty Green site, which was launched in March, has hosted videos and information about the Oasis singer's clothing brand ahead of the official launch of its shop last week.

A spokesperson told The Mirror: "We carried out extensive research and had advanced superior systems in place to manage over 30 times what you would expect for the launch of a brand like this.

"We have engaged the best technology providers in the UK, but obviously even the most robust system couldn't deal with this level of demand."

The site has since been repaired, though buyers have reported problems completing their transactions due to the sustained traffic.
