Carrie Anne Burton was named the winner of 'The Model Agent' on RTÉ Two last night - and revealed that she is expecting a baby.
The 19-year-old from Downpatrick, Co Down contested the final with Amber Jean Rowan from Dublin and Sharon Tuohey from Co Offaly.
For winning the competition, Burton receives an exclusive contract with Independent Models and is the cover star of the June edition of IMAGE magazine.
Burton and her boyfriend's first child is due in July.
Commenting on winning the show, she said: "I was shocked but over the moon. I'm absolutely ecstatic, I am the happiest person ever.
"The high points of the series were London - I loved the buzz of London, the castings and the catwalk and the fashion shoots were great too, I loved everything really apart from the TV commercial casting with Mark Summers. I can't act to save my life, so that was really tough.
"Ellis [the show's presenter and model agent] and Erin [O'Connor, the show's co-presenter and international model] have been amazing throughout the process - they've taught me to come out of myself and be a wee bit more confident and carry myself better."
Burton and finalist Rowan will be guests on 'The Gerry Ryan Show' this morning on RTÉ 2fm.
