La Roche-Posay is one of those rare product ranges that numerous dermatologists have tipped their hats to in recent years.
As an impatient patient of sensitive skin, I'm a dedicated follower of high quality brands who do exactly what they say on the box. La Roche-Posay is one such range.
Their latest offerings are Rosaliac XL Riche and Unifiance Fluide Mat Sensitive Skin Foundation. These two products are made specifically for sensitive skin, and I mean sensitive skin.
Too many so-called sensitive skincare products are merely products with less of whatever it is cosmetics companies' use, in a bid to fulfil their promise to make us look more beautiful. La Roche-Posay is the real deal.
Sensitive skin often suffers at the hands of harsh winters and needs more TLC to prepare for the welcome, yet daunting arrival of Spring. Cue Rosaliac XL, which as the name suggests, helps to neutralise redness on reactive skin, while also moisturising the face. With an SPF of 15, it’s the perfect product to use now before the sun comes out (staying optimistic about the Irish summer), when a higher SPF is needed. Soothing the delicate blood vessels, the product is ideal for dry to very dry skin.
Once the Rosaliac has dried in, its time to apply the Unifiance. The matt fluid is also created for sensitive skin and is ideal as an all-day foundation. The fragrance free make-up is available in a range of shades. Neutralising shine, the foundation stays where you want it, yet is light enough to let your skin breathe. I tried the combination to oily skin Unifiance and my T-zone remained shine-free until I de-make-up'd at night. Light enough to use from now throughout Spring, Unifiance still offers better coverage than a light tinted moisturiser.
Sensitive skin says hurray for La Roche-Posay!
