Heidi Klum is one of most successful models of all time and she is famed for her fabulous body and killer curves – but the supermodel has now been branded ‘too fat’ to appear on the catwalk.

The Victoria’s Secret model is too big for the catwalk because she is ‘too heavy’ and has ‘too big a bust’, according to fashion designer Wolfgang Joop .

Now the 35-year-old has hit back, saying: "Do I care? I really don’t think about Joop or what he said. It’s his opinion."

But the mother of three will not be starving herself any time soon. "In this business you have to be fit but I always try to be a good role model and not too thin," she said.

Tim Gunn, a mentor on Klum’s TV show Project Runway, said: "If she’s fat, other women should throw themselves off a train."

Klum banked £9 million last year, putting her second only to Brazilian beauty Gisele Bundchen in terms of earnings.
