Firstly, you choose the shade you are going for, or bring in a picture of something you have in mind.
I went for a coral red, which was meticulously mixed to just the right shade in a tube right in front of me.
You keep working on the colour, trying it out a few times until you've got it just right.
I wanted it to be quite an opaque shade with a high gloss finish, and got a dab of icy mint flavouring added in at the end.
