Clinique’s new moisturiser, Comfort on Call allergy tested relief cream, has been a lifesaver for me the past few weeks.
My skin had become irritated with dry patches due to the usual seasonal complaints – cold, biting weather combined with drying heating indoors.
As soon as I slapped on the cream it immediately made my skin feel blanketed and protected, and the dry patches were soothed and upon further applications, disappeared.
The cream has a luxuriously thick texture that I warm up between my fingers before applying to my skin. It makes my skin feel less dehydrated and also is a surprisingly good base for make-up giving how balmy and dense the cream is.
It is formulated with a potent mix of high-performing ingredients, from the emollient shea butter, to antioxidant mangosteen and soothing dimethicone.
Comfort on Call is said to be suitable for ‘even the most sensitive skin’ and I am inclined to believe the hype – it feels gentle, is fragrance free and gives skin a smooth, moisturised look.
I’ve been using it morning and night, using a tinted moisturiser with an SPF for added protection during the day. It not only has kept my skin soothed and soft – it makes heading out on my bike an easier prospect on these cold mornings!
