Recession? What recession?
It seems as if fashion designer Tom Ford is living in some sort of fashion bubble, having recently launched a pair of jeans which cost a wallet numbing $990.
They feature 18k gold-plated buttons and are two available styles: the TF001 that has a bootleg and the TF002, which has a straight leg. Both come in dark indigo denim and white and black bull denim.
The denim line is made in Italy from 13 ounce selvedge-edged, premium Japanese denim, and the waistband and seams are reinforced with double-stitched thread.
Designer they may be, but can anyone really justify spending almost a thousand quid of a pair of denim jeans?
