River Island have just announced that Amber Le Bon, daughter of '80s supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon is to be the new face of their spring/summer 2009 collection.
A spokesperson for River Island said, "Our spring/summer 2009 collection embodies the spirit and restlessness of the '80s, therefore Amber was a perfect fit, taking over where her mother left off."
Judging by the stunning photo shoot she's certainly picked up her mum's good looks. She looks great in a one-shoulder graffiti splattered dress, which we're sure will be a big seller for the high-street store when it hits the shop floor later this month.
All this and she's also appearing in Tatler's latest issue as well as modelling for top lingerie line Myla. We think 2009 will be a big year for this lady, so watch this space.
