Slaine Kelly is an Irish film and television actress best known for her role as Lady Jane Howard The Tudors. She has become increasingly well known due to a steamy love scene with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, which featured in the first episode, and has featured regularly on promos and trailers.
With a hint of Bardott about her and a wicked grin, the talented actress and former model oozes style from every pore.
We caught up with her for a quick fashion fix.
You're clearly a fan of fashion. Do you enjoy experimenting with your look?
I am a bit of a magpie and I love collecting things that catch my eye; any thing pretty and shiny. So my style is very like that. I get inspired every day walking around Camden where I live. I get ideas from music, film and the fashion magazines. I tend to pick out ideas I like from ELLE or Vogue and play with the ideas.
I never would copy a style directly. I think it's cool to look at your own wardrobe and see how you can jazz something up by add something unusual or customizing. I find that the main thing I experiment with at the moment is my hair and make up. If you get that right you can wear anything like a pair of leggings and T-shirt and still look effortlessly stylish.
Who is your fashion icon or your greatest influence in matters of style?
My taste in fashion is ever evolving so it changes all the time. I love Bridget Bardott at the moment, as well as Blondie and Goldie Hawn. I also like the Olsen twins because I think they always look effortless stylish.

Bobbi Brown Lip balm and a foundation stick to cover any little blemishes.

A brown leather jacket that I bought in Mango 3 years ago, it keeps getting better with age.
How important is fashion in the world of the music/film industry?
Fashion film and music are all visual art forms, yet, in my opinion, all take some influence from the past. The industries use fashion as a personal calling card to be original to be new to be edgy. In turn it inspires all of us.

At the moment I’m in love with a pair of leather skinny trousers I got from Zara. They fit like a glove and I bought them for £25! Amazing. I wear them with a plain white t-shirt and a black suit jacket.
