Leaving Cert English is done and dusted. Over two days students got creative and celebrated the creativity of some of the great wordsmiths of all time.

Up top Clodagh runs through Paper 1
- Elements of the paper may have startled the anxious student, but after the initial skipped heartbeat there was a lot that students could get their teeth into.
- While some prompts were more specific than anticipated, students had lots of room to explore and expand, keeping them working right up to the bell.
And here is the Paper 2 analysis
- Some disquieting questions will have students feeling unsure about their performance.
- Many questions required students to make the braver choice of directly challenging or contradicting the paper.
