Once again, RTÉ Learn are linking up with our friends at the Irish Second-Level Students' Union (ISSU) for the Leaving Cert Diary 2024 (Exam Blogs). It brings you exam reaction directly from the students.

You don't need any writing experience, just the ability to be honest and share your exam experiences. We are talking around 200-300 words or even a short video! You can write about as many or as little of your exam experiences as you'd like.

You need to fill in the sign up form on the ISSU Homepage - just tell us what subjects you want to write about via the form.

Some things you might want to share

  • What were you glad came up in the exam?
  • Which questions surprised you?
  • How well did you feel certain sections went for you?
  • How well prepared did you feel for the exam?

Look back on the 2023 instalments here to see what we are after.!

Shari Irfan, ISSU President says: We're delighted to be collaborating with RTÉ on this project again! Taking part in the exam blogs is a great opportunity to amplify the student voice and share experiences. As a student who took part last year, I found great comfort in sharing my view on the exams and reading other students' experiences.

We hope this year that the thousands of ISSU members doing their exams across the country get to reflect and feel united through the blog.

The ISSU are keen to hear from students in Leaving Cert, Junior Cert and Leaving Cert Applied to capture as many students' experiences as possible.

Anyone who signs up to do the ISSU Exam Blogs will be given free access to themathstutor.ie to support their studies throughout the State Examinations.
