Spring into Storytime is part of the national reading programme Right to Read from our friends at Libraries Ireland.
It's all about getting pre-school and Primary School children interested in books through interactive storytelling sessions that are taking place throughout April in libraries nationwide.
Developing an interest in reading is incredibly beneficial for children, with studies showing it can improve not only their literacy skills but also help them develop their imagination and creativity.
Spring Into Storytime is delivered in all libraries across the country in the month of April, with storytimes available in the library or online.
To find out what’s happening, parents can contact their local library or check their website or social media. More information is available here, where you can also find links to recommended books and tips for getting kids into reading.
And there is one as Gaeilge too!!
Don't forget to check out the RTÉjr Book Club every month here, with thanks to our friends at Children's Books Ireland!
