Throughout Home School Hub, we have explored the amazing Geography all over the planet. Now it is time to take to our boat and explore Ireland's islands.

There are a huge number of islands dotted around Ireland, most of them are uninhabited. Around 30 are inhabited and contain vibrant communities with regular ferry services between them and the mainland. You can even take a cable-car to an island off the coast of Cork! How cool is that.

One Island even has wallabies on it! Seriously! They are like kangaroos but smaller. Of course, Ireland is itself an island, meaning we are surrounded by water. Our country looks quite cool from Space.
